new moon

so i stayed home sick from work today & caught up on some blogs:
namely my friend kari, she did a bunch of daily journal/comic things a while back & i read them all~
and then i thought since it was the first of the year only yesterday that i should try to do it myselfs....it seems like a great way to remember things that happened...esp since i'm not too great at remembering things that happened.



one day i'll get a scanner & you will be able to read them! i prob won't post many til then :\

tandoori cauliflower

oh hey so yeah, i've just regained my internet abilities so heres what i had been working on in the meantime.
kind of a little show to throw into a coffeeshop. sometimes its hard for me to come up with images that arent violent in some way, so i feel like a few of these are a little awkward. hopefully someone wants to buy them anyway.
they are also small, the kitties are 3"x5", the birdhouse & chameleon 4"x6", tho the chameleon's frame is slightly larger. i love that frame, it'll hurt to part with it.







been doodling ideas for paintings & such in the cachet a lot. sometimes doodles grow a bit large, tho.


this isnt finished, as you can see the eyes are penciled in, they look really pretty blank and the addition of those details changed the mood of the picture drastically.

anyway here are two reasons i havent been around:




i did these w a guy i used to live with: evanscornelius.blogspot.com
We kind of drew them together, i inked, & he shaded everything. oh yeah then i did lettering on both.
i like the nero one the most, nero himself really loved it, too <3 <3
altho the pomeranians turned out great as well! it was kind of a fight to get it done, but toward the end there were a few moments we were actually inking on it at the same time. it was crazed!

they had a pile of the manticore handills too! i love that thing.
and actually the posters were hanging up inside everywhere as well but,
well, i felt kinda awkward walking around taking photos of pictures, as i got weird looks taking photos of the door haha
